La Rosière, Between France and Italy
In the village of Montvalezan, in the Haute-Tarentaise, La Rosière faces due south at 1,850 metres, opposite the Mont Blanc massif. It is a true balcony over the valley, bathed in sunshine.
Its ski area, the Espace San Bernardo, links France and Italy all the way to La Thuile: here, you cross the border on your skis.
Just above, the Little St Bernard Pass is an age-old crossing, used since Antiquity by a Roman road. Its hospice was founded, according to tradition, by Saint Bernard of Menthon, the same saint who gave his name to the famous mountain dogs.
In winter as in summer, La Rosière offers a warm, family atmosphere in one of the most beautiful settings in the Alps.

How long is the transfer to La Rosière?
Allow around 2 hours to 2 hours 30 from Chambéry, 3 hours to 3 hours 30 from Lyon-Saint-Exupéry and from Geneva, and 5 to 6 hours from Zurich, depending on road conditions. From Geneva, we favour the scenic route along Lake Annecy, and always on Saturdays; if you prefer the motorway, simply let us know when you make your request.

Can you collect us in Italy?
Yes. We collect you from Turin and Milan airports, or from your hotel in Italy. In summer, the road over the Little St Bernard Pass makes the journey shorter and very beautiful; in winter, when the pass is closed, we travel through the Fréjus Tunnel.

Do you serve all areas of La Rosière?
